Singing into a forest
If I sing into the forest
The bark will answer back
Shouting at the top of it’s lungs
My insecurities as though they’re facts
If I whisper to a blade of grass
It will whisper back
Every one of my worries at once
And all in such great mass
If I punch my way through thorns
The will punch through me
Puncturing my skin with spikes
And causing me to bleed
If I stare into the mirror
My reflection wont look back
Just a blurry face I’ll see
And hands with skin so cracked
